Location

The taverna "TO REMETZO" is situated in south-eastern Peloponnese, 25 km north-east of Monemvasia in the prefecture of Lakonia. Travelers from Athens or Patras can take the route through Sparti to Monemvasia. Approximately 8 km before reaching Monemvasia, turn left and follow the signs for Gerakas. Driving from Monemvasia to the harbour of Gerakas, you will be pleasantly surprised by the pristine landscape, as you wind your way through mountains and sea. The harbour of Gerakas is frequented by a lot of sailing boats. The harbour is considered a safe and quiet place for them to moor or  anchor.
